Discover the Portland Gear Hub

The Portland Gear Hub is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making bicycles and outdoor gear accessible and affordable to everyone in the Portland, Maine community. Through their programs and retail space, they promote sustainable transportation, outdoor recreation, and hands-on education. Their efforts focus on reducing barriers to cycling and outdoor adventure, creating opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to engage with their community and the environment.

They aimed to raise $1.5M to purchase their facility in Portland, and Strega Studios stepped up to create a video to help communicate the amazing impact they have on the community. In two months, they raised more than one third of their funds, crossing the final threshold that let them acquire the building.
